Calculus is the study of rates of change. This course is designed to give you a solid understanding of the basics of Calculus. We will spend a majority of the year learning about a derivative and its applications. We will also hit on the ideas of anti-derivatives and integrals towards the end of the school year.

**This course is NOT designed to prepare you for the AP Calculus test.**We will be doing many story problems throughout the year to study the applications of Calculus. We are not in a rush to get through to any certain material, so we will be spending some time ensuring you understand the concepts. Even though we are not in a rush, this is still a Calculus class and it can be difficult. Calculus material tends to build on itself, if you feel you are not understanding something, ASK right away to get help catching up.__Attendance__
